This weekend was the second annual VW Jingle Bugs Rock show, in Kissimmee, Florida. Mike let me tag along to see what it was all about. I took pictures. Lots of pictures. More food coming soon! Honest!
There were four Herbie replicas. They're pretty popular.
Read more for lots of pics!

We followed Greg and Amber there! This is there pop-up bus.
This is from Mike's car. He constructed it himself!
Cutie blue bug!
Lots of bugs.
VW bus interior
This is Mike and his friend Joe that rode with us. The black VW bus in the picture was amazing! It's a solid matte black color and the muffler was super low to the ground.
This is one cool vehicle. Tons of custom touches... including the frame. These are the door handles, crafted from 'brass' knuckles. You can see the nice rusted and clear coated dash. Lovely.
Here's a better shot of the car. You can see the 1/2 gear head rests welded to the seats, as well as the bike chain VW sign and decorations on the hood.
This is another vehicle from the same shop. It's a little more low brow. All wood and exposed metal, but insanely creative. It started as a bug and a truck, and became this!
The front wheels are extended out, and the back wheels are at an angle. This thing was def one of my favorites from the show. The tail gate is made of barbed wire. The top is chopped and it's completely open.
Bad. Ass.
This car looks like a little British spy car. All black and chrome. Sweet.
VW camper bus. I want one of these soo bad one day! Complete with two levels of cots, pop top room, mosquito netting in the back, stove, refrigerator and sink. Loooove love this bebe.
(More shots of the same)
This bus was literally inches from the ground...
This was a completely custom, wood interior. Floors, walls, cabinets... all matched. I'm guessing the owner was a carpenter... or good friends with one.
I love the bugs with little 'eye lids' over the headlights!
Mike says the visor on this bus is like a dirty bum with brand new Chucks. Speaking of which...

Mikey and me... end of the show! I can't believe the stupid guy that took the picture didn't even get the whole car in the photo. That was the friggin' point.
Anyway, that's all for now! Holiday quick breads, soon!
